Recorded Mixes in tinytunes DJ
Record your master output as a shareable mix link, with playback rules and limitations.
tinytunes DJ can record your master output into a "Recorded Mix" you can share as a link.
Anyone can open the mix page and see its details, but playing the mix requires signing in.
1. Recording requirements
To record a mix, you must:
- Be signed in.
- Have recording enabled for your account/plan (if you don't see recording options, check the in-app Plans page).
- Choose a username if tinytunes DJ prompts you to.
2. Playback rules
- Anyone can open a recorded mix link and view the page.
- Clicking Play prompts for sign-in if you're not already signed in.
3. Sharing links
- Each recorded mix has its own share link.
- Copy the link from the mix page to share it.
4. YouTube recording limitation
Recorded mixes are meant to capture what tinytunes DJ can reliably record. Currently:
- Local files record reliably.
- YouTube tracks may not be included in the recording.
For reliable recordings, build the set from local files before you record.
5. Tracklist timestamps (mix time)
If a mix includes a tracklist, the timestamps shown are mix time:
0:00means "at the start of the recording".12:34means "this track became audible around 12:34 into the recorded mix".
Timestamps are best-effort. If you start recording with both decks already audible, you may see multiple tracks at 0:00.
